Scone Palace & St. Andrews

Day 5

One of the highlights of day 5 is the visit to Scone Palace. Scone palace is the home of the Earl and Countess of Mansfield.



The afternoon of Day 5 was spent at St. Andrews.  The old Course at St. Andrews was founded in 1754.  Today St. Andrews boasts seven courses. St.  Andrews Links is the largest public golfing complex in Europe.

Golf has been played on this course since 1400 A.D. The Old Course originally consisted of 22 holes before being reduced to 18 by Tom Morris.
